Leadership South Carolina Application Information

Participants in Leadership South Carolina represent a diverse cross-section of our state, including business leaders, nonprofit professionals, government officials, and dedicated community volunteers, all committed to addressing South Carolina’s challenges and opportunities.

Please complete your application carefully. The Selection Committee bases its decisions primarily on your responses. Attachments beyond what is specifically requested (e.g., resumes, business cards) will not be considered and will be discarded.

Upon dating & signing, you acknowledge:

Leadership South Carolina Program Commitment Statement. I understand the mission and purpose of LSC. If selected, I will devote the time & resources necessary to complete the program. I acknowledge that the Orientation Session is mandatory. I further understand that missing more than one session will make me ineligible for graduating from the program. There are no exceptions to this policy. If I withdraw from the program for any reason, I understand that tuition is non-refundable. I recognize that LSC extends beyond the eight-month program & offers a lifetime of opportunities for positive involvement in shaping the future of our state. The information provided in this application accurately represents my background & experience. My employer is aware of my application & supports my participation if selected. I understand that I represent both my organization & LSC and will conduct myself with professionalism & respect toward others. Conduct unbecoming of the program will result in immediate dismissal without tuition reimbursement.

There will be limited tuition assistance available for those who qualify. If you request tuition assistance, you must also complete this FORM to be considered.
